If you were a client or newsletter subscriber with us last year, you may remember a letter I wrote in March’s issue about “You Are What You Think.” I want to refer back to that this month, because it continues to be so very relevant. We are constantly bombarded with negativity, and I see it everyday from our clients and members…either from ’negative self-talk’ or from unsupportive friends and family around them.
Remember, if you open yourself up to the negativity, allowing it to dominate your thoughts, then you will continue to attract more and more negativity. Just as in everything you do in life, in order to achieve your health and fitness goals and maintain your overall healthy lifestyle you have to make a daily conscious effort to break free and keep the negativity at bay. The best way to do this is to surround yourself with people, things, images, and thoughts which make you happy and feeling positive about your life.
