Studioz has been training Australian Floor Ball World Championship Team member, Gavin Staindl for the past few months to prepare him for the Floor Ball World Championships in Finland (December 2010). After being delayed at Heathrow airport for Christmas, Gavin has finally made it back and I recently enjoyed hearing all about how he and the team performed. Gavin had an awesome tournament and said his strength, cardio training and nutrition coaching with Studioz prepared him incredibly well for the World Championships.
Australia is still a youngster in the sport, but the Team did themselves proud by coming 14th – their highest ever world ranking.
Gavin is now more focused than ever, can’t wait to get back into training, after taking a much deserved break, and directing his efforts to qualifying for the next World Championships in 2 years time. Great job Gavin, I’m proud of you!
A big congratulations to Paul Hogg and Ben Monckton from Pakenham who also made the Australian Team and put in strong performances. Well done boys!
